About Ekiden

Ekiden means the marathon relay race. This 42,195 km relay race is open to 6 people teams.
Each runner has to run appropriately: 10k, 10k, 5k, 5k, 5k, 7.195k. The race is organised at the 5 km loop.
Each participant from team receives a medal at the end of the race. 6 single medals creates one big team medal!
The time limit for each team is 4,5 hours.
